I have brought my Outback here for service several times.  On one occasion, I made an appointment with Gillman Subaru service & brought my car in on a Monday afternoon for a warranted oil change.  The advisor estimated the work would be complete in an hour to an hour-fifteen.  Considering that it was a Monday afternoon, I was OK with it coming out in 90 minutes.  On situations in which I needed to leave the car, I was fortunate enough to get a loaner.  In comparing the complementary car wash I got here to other dealerships, it was so-so.  It was the kind of car wash that you would complain about if you had to pay for it.

Great experience at this dealer, both in their service department and on the sales floor. I was recently looking at trading in my car, and this was the only dealer that was willing to give me a price offer over the phone. Other dealers in the area would refuse to discuss pricing beforehand, and told me they needed me to be there in person. And other dealers said they would work with me on price, only to end up refusing to budge from their sticker price when I was there in person. After a truly HORRIBLE experience with the sales team at Gillman Southwest, I was hesitant to give my business to another Gillman dealer (despite being a previous customer of Gillman Southwest a few years ago), but the price they offered me was great so I figured I would give them a chance. Sunny was my salesperson, and I told him over the phone right at the beginning that I was not willing to play games and would walk the minute they started the high pressure sales tactics. He said no problem, told me to just stop by for an "information day" and if I like what I see there, I can come back to buy when I'm ready. Perfect, that's exactly what I wanted! Sunny was great, no pressure at all. Exactly the kind of relaxed sales environment that I am comfortable with! I mentioned that even though the deal they were offering me was great, it was still more than I was looking to spend since I was originally looking at preowned, but they only had the car I wanted brand new. He and Trent worked with me and somehow they were able to make my great deal even more unbelievable. I couldn't pass it up! It's great and so rare to have car salesmen working WITH you to make a deal work for YOU, instead of just PRESSURING you to accept what works for THEM. Completely the opposite experience of what I had at Gillman Southwest just a few hours earlier. The only high-pressure I dealt with was at the end with the finance guy trying to pressure me into buying the extended warranties, but that is to be expected. He kept insisting and tried using scare tactics to get me to buy the warranty, but I persisted. This was my fourth brand new Subaru that I've bought, and was easily the most pleasant car buying experience I've ever had. Subaru should be proud of the team here at Gillman North, and would also probably be ashamed of the overall sales experience and treatment of loyal customers at Gillman Southwest! I would highly recommend anyone in the market for a Subaru to speak with Sunny and Trent. This will definitely be where I will come to buy my 5th Subaru, won't even bother with the other dealers! By consistently treating me with respect whether here for a $30 service or to buy s $30k car, Gillman North has earned my business and customer loyalty. Thank you!

The service rep was very patient and helped me evaluate my options. My funds were limited and I had to choose between new tires and a 30,000-mile service. He was knowledgeable and never made me feel rushed or pressured. I have confidence in Subaru service reps because of my experiences at Gilman North.
